Foundation
Our company was founded in 2020 by Gilbert Labrada with the intention of supplying the food commodities markets, challenging ourselves every day to offer the best quality food to our customers.
Gilbert, with more than 10 years of experience in the commodities industry, made the decision to found G Lab Global, in order to improve the processes of transportation and preservation of food.
The growth and expansion of our company began supplying first the US market, but observing the need we have to export our commodities to more countries we have been adapting and exceeding expectations.

Overcoming Challenges
As a food commodities company, we have faced numerous challenges over the years. From fluctuations in commodity prices and supply chain disruptions, to the impact of natural disasters and political instability, we have had to navigate a wide range of challenges.
One of the biggest challenges we have faced is the impact of global trade tensions. With tariffs and other trade barriers being implemented by various countries, it has become increasingly difficult to secure the raw materials and ingredients that we need to produce our products. We have had to adapt by sourcing ingredients from different countries and developing new supply chain partnerships.
Another challenge we have faced is the increasing demand for sustainably-produced food. Consumers are becoming more conscious about the environmental and social impact of their food choices, and as a result, we have had to invest in more sustainable production methods. This has required significant investments in new technologies and processes, but we believe it is worth it to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Despite these challenges, we have remained committed to delivering high-quality, affordable food to our customers. By staying agile and adapting to changing market conditions, we have been able to overcome these challenges and continue to grow our business.
